La Palme Services on A9 Situated between Perpignan and Narbonne La Palme Services (north bound) is busy with trucks and very hot, the concrete seems to exude hot air. It has however a very unusual smart restaurant (including a grand piano and outdoor pool) but is very “dog friendly” – one extremely hot day we went in, bagged a table and sat down with our two Westies, George & Gaby, and before we could do anything else a member of staff appeared with large bowl of water for the dogs! Quite an individual establishment.
