Canet Plage is a rather nice small seaside resort, with a good beach, and a smart promenade, with several pavement restaurants, and gifty-type stalls providing a busy holiday atmosphere. There's even a "Pere Noel" museum! Canet Plage is situated on the Languedoc-Rousillon coast near Perpignan - But beware of misreading any large advertising posters! We sat on the beach for2 whole hours one evening waiting for a Phil Collins live performance – saw lots of jugglers and acrobats on the stage, but no Phil Collins….we'd misread the date!!!
